Day 1: Welcome to Egypt
Welcome to Cairo! After being greeted at the airport by our friendly staff, you'll be transferred to your luxurious hotel in a private, modern van. Here, our representative will go over the pickup times and itinerary for the rest of your trip. To kick off your vacation, we've included a complimentary dinner at the hotel. Get a good night's rest, as tomorrow is a jam-packed day full of ancient wonders!
Day 2: Giza Pyramids Private Tour
Fuel up with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a private tour with your expert guide. First stop: the Giza Plateau, home to the majestic Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menakaure. These ancient structures are truly a sight to behold! Next, we'll visit the Sphinx, the mysterious symbol of power that sits at the foot of the Pyramids. From here, we'll head to Saqqara, the extensive Necropolis that holds the oldest pyramid in Egypt, the tomb of King Zoser. You'll also have the chance to see other Mastaba tombs belonging to high officials of the Old Kingdom. Finally, we'll visit the open-air museum of Memphis, once the capital of unified Egypt, and admire the huge statue of Ramses II. After a full day of exploration, we'll return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Cairo Private City Tour
After breakfast, we'll head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you'll have the chance to see over 165,000 artifacts that span 5,000 years of history. The highlight of the museum is the stunning treasures of Tutankhamun. Next, we'll visit the grand Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the "Alabaster Mosque," which sits atop a limestone hill and is still used for worship by Cairo's Muslims. The majority of the mosque is made of alabaster, hence its name. From here, we'll head to Coptic Cairo to explore the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, and Jewish Synagogue. After a full day of sightseeing, we'll return to the hotel to rest up for another exciting day.
Day 4: Free Day in Cairo
Today is a day to relax and do as you please! You can choose to spend the day exploring Cairo on your own, or opt for one of our optional tours. Some suggestions include attending the sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids, enjoying a dinner cruise on the Nile, flying to visit Luxor, driving to Alexandria, or experiencing an eco-tour of Al Fayoum Oasis. The choice is yours!
Day 5: Final departure
It's time to say goodbye to this magical land. After checking out of the hotel, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
